Popcorn in cold weather

It is cold in here, like neatly into the 40's inside, so I am making the caramel popcorn for Thanksgiving a bit early and letting the hot air popper add to the meager warmth of the house. Provides me with some munchies and gets the hot air going when I can use it rather than that nice warmth going to waste. I might just go on a popcorn diet for the next few days until the weather gets back to normals and not at record lows.
